Site Manager – Birmingham
This Site Manager’s role is with one of the UK’s leading main contractors. They have an excellent reputation and build some of the country’s most iconic buildings. They are a diverse organisation covering most sectors of the built environment and this role is within their interiors/fit out division, specifically to work on fit-out, refurbishment and extension projects on a national basis.
Reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the day to day on site activities with a particular emphasis on quality whilst maintaining high levels of health and safety. You will also be responsible for ensuring that programme deliverables are met, and the scheme is on time and on budget. You’ll need a working knowledge of either ASTA or Project and be able to produce/amend short term programmes.
This particular project is a £1.5million refurbishment of 105 student accommodation units Previous experience with a main contractor is essential and you must also hold an SMSTS, Black CSCS, and 1st Aid as minimum. Ideally you will have worked on a similar type scheme, either a hotel or student accommodation refurb.
